The Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival plans to issue refunds for tickets in the next seven to 10 days.
The company that organized the event announced on Instagram that it reached a settlement with its insurance company and can begin issuing refunds.
People who bought two-day passes will get 75 percent of the ticket price refunded. People who bought a ticket for Saturday only will get a 50 percent refund, and people who bought a ticket for Sunday only will get a full refund.

The festival was supposed to take place on September 22 and 23 in Franklin, but organizers called off the second half of the event because of heavy rain and a thunderstorm.
Organizers asked festival goers to leave the Park at Harlinsdale at about 4 p.m. on Saturday. The second day of the festival was canceled before it started on Sunday.
A tweet from Pilgrimage Festival said the event was canceled because there was lightning in the area.

According to a tweet from the City of Franklin, Deputy Fire Chief Todd Horton decided to cancel the event on Sunday because of unsafe conditions at the Park at Harlinsdale and the threat of inclement weather.
